"Stadt inderTüte," (City in a Box)
Germany's leading architecture and design magazine, Baumeister, featured Songdo International Business District in a two page article, "Stadt inderTüte," (City in a Box) Fall, 2011.
Songdo IBD is referred to as the prototype of the instant city with sustainability and technology as the design theme. Special coated windows, solar panels, state-of-the-art waste collection systems and Cisco's TelePresence are described. Landmarks in Songdo IBD such as NEATT, Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea and Central Park are mentioned.
