Golf Course Designer 

Perhaps no name is more associated with Golf Excellence than Jack Nicklaus and Nicklaus Design, the designers of the New Songdo City Golf Course.  By arrangement, the NSC Golf Course will be the only golf course in Korea to hold the title of "The Jack Nicklaus Golf Course of Korea."

Jack Nicklaus has 251 courses open for play worldwide. This includes 208 solo designs, 30 co-designs and 13 re-designs. Nicklaus Design, as a company, has 308 courses open for play. Nicklaus Design has opened an average of 16 courses a year over the last six years, including a record 27 in 1999. Jack Nicklaus was involved in 81 of those 110 projects. They are represented in 29 countries and 38 states. Nicklaus Design has 189 courses open for play in the United States and at least 48 Nicklaus Design courses have been ranked in various national and international Top-100 lists (Golf Digest, GOLF Magazine, and Golfweek).

By the end of 2006, Nicklaus courses will have hosted more than 500 professional tournaments or national amateur championships.
